Your Privacy Matters

This Privacy Policy describes how Zero1 Ventures ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and handles information when you use I'm In! ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

I'm In! is designed with privacy in mind. We do not require you to create an account. Your identity within the App is represented by an anonymous device identifier generated on your device.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• A display name you choose when setting up the App (not linked to any real identity)
• Event details you create: names, dates, descriptions, availability, ideas, and chat messages
• Poll responses and votes within events
• Optional email address if you choose to sign up for updates

Information collected automatically:

• A randomly generated device UUID stored locally on your device — this is your anonymous identity in the App
• Push notification token (if you grant notification permission) to deliver event updates
• Basic usage data such as events created or joined (not tied to personal identity)

How We Use Information

We use the information collected to:

• Operate and provide the App's features — event creation, scheduling, group coordination
• Deliver push notifications about events you're part of (with your permission)
• Process in-app purchases through Apple App Store or Google Play
• Improve app performance and fix bugs
• Respond to support requests if you contact us
• Send product updates if you opted into our email list

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We may share limited data only in these circumstances:

• With other event members: Your chosen display name and event contributions (availability, ideas, messages) are visible to other members of events you join.
• Service providers: We use Supabase for database and backend services, and Firebase for push notifications. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies.
• Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.

Data Storage & Security

Event data is stored securely on Supabase-managed servers. Your device UUID and preferences are stored locally on your device using standard secure storage (SharedPreferences).

We implement reasonable technical measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Push notification tokens are stored in our database solely to deliver notifications. You can revoke notification permissions at any time in your device settings.

Data Retention

Event data (trips, availability, messages, ideas) is retained for as long as the event exists in the App. Events and associated data may be deleted after a period of inactivity.

To remove your data from an event, you can leave the event within the App. To request complete deletion of any data associated with your device, contact us at the address below.

Children's Privacy

I'm In! is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information through the App, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the data associated with your device
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of push notifications via your device settings
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails via the unsubscribe link in any email

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy practices:

• Supabase — backend database and real-time services (supabase.com/privacy)
• Firebase / Google — push notification delivery (firebase.google.com/support/privacy)
• Apple App Store / Google Play — in-app purchase processing

In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple or Google. We do not receive or store your payment information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Effective" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll provide notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
